Still following a blog

1. I'm following the blog of a guy who's trying to write a book.
2. They've written six chapters and given some insight into how their project has developed over the course of the several months that they've been working on it for.
3. They've discovered that writing an entire story is much harder than it looks at first, but they've made a good start and plan to continue writing through the summer.

20 Time update 05

1. My project is the re-coloring/texturing/designing of a 3D model of a futuristic city street.
2. I plan on rendering a fly-through of the street model in order to present my work.
3. I discovered that the buildings were jammed together in impossible ways, so I had to mess with the layout in order to make it look more realistic.

Continuing to follow a blog

1. I'm still reading about a guy who's writing a book for his 20 Time project.
2. They've written five chapters so far.
3. The only problem they've encountered recently is that a book isn't exactly something that can be written quickly or in a uniform, easy-to-measure manner.

20 Time Post 04

1. My project is the restructuring, recoloring, and texturing of a model of a futuristic city street for a group I'm working with.
2. I came to the unfortunate realization that the buildings were not arranged in a logical manner (running into each other and that sort of thing), so I'm trying to rearrange them in a manner that would appeal to a sane person.
3. It's hard to work with a set of models that I didn't make, especially on something as complex as this.  I can't really overcome this, but I can work past it and make them look worthy of being used in a 3D movie.

A blog I'm still following

1. I've been following the 20 Time blog of a guy who's writing a book.
2. He's making good progress on the next chapter of the book; the introductory portion is over and he's getting to the plot.
3. His largest obstacle is a lack of time with which to work on the book, but he's overcoming that and getting things done.

20 Time Post 03

As I've said before, my project is a continued re-texturing of a futuristic city street model.  I'd like to finish working on it by the end of the trimester, or failing that, by the end of the school year; I want to learn more about making convincing textures in Blender (a purpose for which this project has been very helpful thus far).  So far I've only really encountered two issues: the fact that part of the street is incomplete due to a failure on the part of whoever originally modeled that piece to compensate for a curved portion that the regular array modifier couldn't handle (necessitating some separating of objects and usage of independent array modifiers to achieve the correct result, which I'm still working on) and a lack of time to actually work on the project.  When it's done, I hope to have a complete 3D set to use for the movie project I'm working on.
